Tweet the Australian Author

12 August 2009 - Leave a Response

Odyssey Books is excited about our new collaborative project with @AusLiterature and @brascoebooks : ‘Tweet an Australian Author’.

An open-planned initiative to enable readers from all over the world to connect with the Aussie author of the day via Twitter, to chat and answer questions and field discussion on Australian writing.

- from the brand-spanking new Tweet the Australian Author website at http://austliterature.net/tweet/

How does it work? Using a tweetchat by following a specific hashtag (in this instance it will be #TweetTheAustAuthor), it will be a lot like hanging out at your favourite cafe or pub and watching a conversation unfold between author and readers.

Watch the AustLiterature website for more details soon.

Forthcoming Titles

11 August 2009 - Leave a Response

The website is now fully up and running, and we plan to include the occasional blog post on what’s new at Odyssey, the publishing industry in general, and of course, our new titles!

Check out our forthcoming titles, which should all be available before the end of the year:

Operation Trooplift: Postcards from home

Cardboard: A woman left for dead

and we’re also seeking written and artistic submissions for our flagship anthology – Eve’s Harvest – which is to be published in conjunction with lip magazine

If you’re looking for a publisher for your own book, we are now accepting submissions and welcome you to visit our submission guidelines. We also offer professional services and advice to self-publishers if you prefer to DIY and need some help along the way.
